This traditional terraced house, built in the early twentieth century, has been recently restored with great care, quality materials and luxurious finishes. It is located just a short walk from the central market of Viareggio and the pedestrian shopping streets, 500 meters from the beach. The Via San Martino, where the house is located, ends on the esplanade "La Passeggiata" just below the very central Piazza Mazzini.

The house has a very useful garage and a pleasant rear garden. On the ground floor there is the entrance hall that gives access to the living area with large kitchen. From the kitchen you can step out onto the private garden, stretching between the house and the annexe, a lovely studio apartment with kitchen and dining table, double bed and bathroom with shower. On the ground floor it is also located a convenient utility room with washing machine. Climbing the elegant marble stairs you can find a large bathroom on the mezzanine floor and two double bedrooms with terrace on the first floor. Another double bedroom and a bathroom are located in the attic. The three bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

LOCATION

 

Viareggio is a city in northern Tuscany on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. With a population of over 64,000, it's the second largest city within the province of Lucca. It is known as a seaside resort as well as being the home of the famous carnival of Viareggio (dating back to 1873), and its papier-mâché floats, which parade along the promenade known as "La Passeggiata", in the weeks preceding Easter.

The entire area of Viareggio extends over the coastal flooding plain of Versilia. it has 10 km (6.2 mi) of sandy beaches, of which 6 km (3.7 mi) are managed by private beach resorts and the remaining 4 km (2.5 mi) are public (most of the public beach is part of the Natural Parc Migliarino - San Rossore - Massaciuccoli.

The municipal area includes the Lake of Massaciuccoli where, in the town of Torre del Lago, the Puccini Opera Festival takes place every summer.
